Enzymatic activity assays

 

Microarrays are incubated with a specific substrate of the enzyme under study and the modulating molecule. After a washing step, the image (colorimetry, fluorescence ...) is scanned, quantified and analyzed. Microarray format allows to study in a single experiment different samples and tissues simultaneously, enabling the determination of dose effect curves and pharmacological parameters.
