MICROCHIPS for
SCREENING and DIAGNOSTICS
Cell membrane microarrays are composed by membranes isolated from different tissues, organs and cell lines that overexpress a particular protein, or by pathological samples and their respective controls. Cell membranes are immobilized on a glass slide using a technology that maintains the functionality of membrane proteins. Therefore, these microarrays can be employed to determine pharmacological parameters (Bmax, KD, Emax EC50 ....) of the tested compounds as well as the simultaneous distribution of their binding sites in various tissues in a single miniaturized assay.
IMG PHARMA BIOTECH presents a panel of cell membrane microarrays from tissues and organs: Sprague Dawley rat (male, female) and Cynomolgus primate. It also offers the possibility of developing customized microarrays.
